Package

In this page, you can understand the full hierarchical structure of Package.

Package​

A package is a collection of package options offered by a venue. i.e. Women's summer haircut and blow dry.

The Package model provides an overview of the package.

Available fields:

  • name: Name of the package
  • description: Description of the package
  • position: The position of the package, used by acts_as_list
  • venue: Reference to the Venue

Package Option​

A package option is an individual treatment or service included in the package. A package can include multiple package options.

i.e. Option 1 - Women's haircut and blow dry for short hair and Option 2 - Women's haircut and blow dry for long hair.

Available fields:

  • name: Name of the package option
  • description: Description of the package option
  • position: The position of the package option, used by acts_as_list
  • package: Reference to the Package

Package Option Resource​

The PackageOptionResource represents the linkage between a PackageOption and the VenueTreatment that it corresponds to.

i.e. Option 1 has

  • Women's Haircut - Short
  • Blow Dry - Short

and Option 2 has

  • Women's Haircut - Long
  • Blow Dry - Long

Available fields:

  • package_option: Reference to the PackageOption
  • venue_treatment: Reference to the VenueTreatment
  • position: The position of the package option, used by acts_as_list
